3D Simulation and 4D Augmented Reality for Breast Augmentation

Woman using Crisalix 3D Simulation and Augmented Reality for breast augmentation with Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite

Crisalix 3D Simulation

Mr Adamthwaite uses the latest technology to help you achieve the best possible outcome from your breast augmentation with him. He will perform a high resolution 3D simulation of how you are likely to appear after surgery during your consultation. The 3D simulation can be controlled by you to see how your result will look from different viewpoints.

Crisalix 4D Augmented Reality

Mr Adamthwaite is one of the first plastic surgeons in the UK to offer Crisalix 4D Augmented Reality to all his patients at no charge. You are able to see yourself in real time projected onto a mirror screen with augmented or adjusted breast size and shape, observing movement and anatomical suitability. You will see from all possible angles how different implant choices and placement of the implant (subglandular and submuscular or dual plane) change the shape of your breast.

There are no additional charges for this simulation.

If you are interested in a 3D and Augmented Reality Crisalix simulation, please call on 0800 002 9554 or email secretary@adamthwaite.co.uk.

How does Crisalix 3D simulation and 4D Augmented Reality work?

Using an adapted iPad with a 3D sensor attached, Mr Adamthwaite will take several photos of you from different angles. The software uses these to build up a 3D image of your breasts, a bit like taking panoramic shots on your smartphone. Together with Mr Adamthwaite you can then see high resolution 3D images on either the iPad or a large screen. He will also provide you with Virtual Reality (VR) goggles which will enable you to see yourself with added realism. He is able to change the size, shape and positioning of your chosen implants and you will see the impact this has on how your breast will look.

Following your consultation with Mr Adamthwaite, you will have access to these 3D images from the comfort of your home. You can reflect on his advice in your own time and even seek opinion from friends and family for their feedback and reassurance.

How accurate is the simulation?

The 3D and 4D Augmented Reality simulations are highly accurate in women whose existing breasts are on the smaller side and have little droop. This accuracy diminishes somewhat as the droop and size of your breast increases. Mr Adamthwaite will guide you through this and qualify the simulations as necessary so that you have a realistic idea of the final result in your individual case.

Mr Adamthwaite performs 3D simulation and 4D augmented reality in Yorkshire (Leeds, Harrogate & York) and Cheshire (Chester & Wilmslow)
